Hill Terrace, Mosman Park

Before & After

Project Details

A huge natural stonework project was undertaken in Mosman Park in a stunning setting overlooking the Swan River. Challenging slopes and levels were navigated for a seamless flow from the driveway through to the beautiful and intimate courtyard.

Our process begun from initial groundwork coordination, pouring a high strength concrete base to the driveway and courtyard, included reinforced steel mesh and called on our in-depth natural stone experience to place movement joints throughout the project, which were strategically hidden to the unassuming eye.

On a technical level these aspects are so important to any project, but in particular our customer investing hugely in a high in natural stone. Endicott Filetti was painstakingly and patiently installed to the driveway creating a stunning visual from the road side and complimenting the incredible new home design by the talented Ross McAndrew Architect.

Stunning burnished concrete steppers tied the lower sloping driveway to the front door entrance with a softer Bolzano Limestone. Eco Outdoor  Alpine & Jindera natural stone walling were blended superbly to wrap around the retaining planter beds. Corten steel was then intuitively used to retain the new roll on lawn from the native planting and decorative riverstone pebbles.

A delightful array or texture and materials were brought together by the talented Jean Clement from Spring Green Landscape Architects. In a beautiful compliment to the natural stone used on the project and sustainable and water efficient garden and reticulation were applied with the eco footprint fo the property carefully considered.

On reflection; it’s a project of experience, technical knowledge and patience that made this such a stand out project, highlighting our excellence in bringing together beautiful outdoor spaces here at Premier Constructed.
